Inside: mirroring the size of the 10-acre grounds outside, and communicating with them seamlessly, the interiors of Akrothea are spacious, bright and beautifully appointed. The central, single-storey part of the villa is home to a large, luminous, triple-size, open-concept living and dining area and kitchen. Access to the surrounding terraces is provided by three wide, floor-to-ceiling sliding glass doors that make the most of the amazing sea and coastal views. Beautiful furnishings, sink-in sofas and a large dining table make the reception areas both welcoming and comfortable, while the fully equipped kitchen has been conceived so as to allow cooks to enjoy the wonderful seaviews while chopping and stirring! At either end of the central part of the villa are the two sleeping areas, each organised over two floors: to one end, off the living area, is a large double bedroom containing a mezzanine level with twin beds and an en-suite bathroom. A flight of stairs leads downstairs to two more double/twin rooms also with en-suite bathrooms. To the other end, accessed from the gorgeous dining area, a few steps lead up to a single room and then, via a flight of stairs, to the master suite, complete with en-suite bathroom and a superb panoramic terrace overlooking the pool and the sea. The other bedrooms also have direct access to terraces and all have fantastic seaviews.
Outside: with 400m of private coastline and around 10 acres of gardens, terraces and al fresco areas to explore, not to mention the transfixing views of the sea and the neighbouring island of Lefkada, a stay at Akrothea comes with total privacy, peace and quiet and plenty of space for everyone. Immediately outside the indoor living area is a covered and fully furnished lounge area offering shady coolness and superb views over the sea. A few steps lead down to the infinity pool suspended above the sea down below. To one side of the house is a well-equipped outdoor kitchen and dining area, served by with a barbecue that is big enough for an entire lamb! Exploring the colourful gardens one soon comes across the steps whose destination is Akrothea's private sea access and the turquoise waters beyond...

Akrothea features a fantastic infinity pool, offering swimmers stunning views while in the pool. There is quite a large drop off the infinity side so we recommend children are supervised at all times. Please refer to our general safety page if you would like more
information about infinity pools.
Part of the road up to Akrothea is unpaved and a little rough, though not particularly steep. We therefore strongly recommend guests hire a 4-wheel drive car.
The extensive gardens of Akrothea have a few natural drops and younger children should always be supervised by an adult when exploring the grounds.
