Inside: large, high-ceilinged rooms, good quality furnishings, soft colour schemes and plenty of windows and glass doors all combine to give Avra its cool, airy and luminous atmosphere. The main entrance leads into a voluminous open-plan living, dining and kitchen area that is furnished with comfortable sofas and perfectly equipped for cooking up (and eating) Greek feasts - cooks will be particularly pleased by the inspiring views from the kitchen. From one side, a flight of stairs leads up to a double bedroom with en-suite bathroom, while to the other steps lead down, past a guest bathroom, to the other two bedrooms, one double and one twin, both with en-suite bathrooms. All bedrooms have their own private balconies/terraces accessed via large sliding glass doors and delightful sea views.
Outside: the open-plan living, dining and kitchen area accesses two large, covered al fresco lounge and dining areas located at either end of the house, offering views of the pool, the surrounding countryside and the sea. From here terracotta-paved terraces fan out around two sides of the splendid infinity pool with its views out to sea and, on a clear day, of Paxos. The barbecue area is flanked on all sides by rosemary, oregano and sage bushes, providing an irresistible aromatic stimulus to lovers of outdoor cooking. Each bedroom has its own private access to the terraces and gardens, which, along with the unspoilt surrounding countryside, feature Mediterranean pines, olive trees, cypresses and many varieties of plants.

Think About
The terrace off the front room on the ground floor has low walls and a drop, so younger children should be supervised by an adult when in this area. Similarly, the splendid pool has quite a large drop off the infinity side so precautions should be taken here as well. Don’t hesitate to ask us for more details or additional photos.
